about us

Over the years Cycling has given me so much. Cycling has taught me many life lessons; introduced me to incredible people; created adventures; been a constant source of joy; and more recently created a special bond with my two sons Ian and Sean.

Ian, Sean and I want to share the wonderful things that Cycling Causes to happen with as many people as possible. So they can learn, make friends, explore and have fun.

Ian is also a highly skilled rider. He finished 6th at the 2016 North American Trials Championship. He then finished a very close second to his brother in the Expert class of the  South East Trials Series. He also has USA BMX National race wins and top finishes in the Tennessee High School Mountain Biking League. Ian is also an award winning artist. He too plays goalie in travel hockey and for soccer.

Young until I die.

I've been on two wheels pretty much my whole life. Over the years I've achieved multiple State and Regional Championships in Motocross and Roadracing Motorcycles. Competed at expert and Pro levels. Worked with Pro riders. Produced and hosted a TV show on cycling. Ridden in a TV commercial. And Finished the 2016 South East Trials Series, as an expert, in 3rd place ( I let my sons bet me :).

But I'm most proud of the passion for cycling I have been able to pass on to my sons and watching them progressing to be amazing young riders. And through Cycling Causes I hope to bring a bit of that to many kids of all ages.
